Saturday, December 5th marks the beginning of the community’s holiday celebration: “Twinkle Town”. Here is an overview of events:

  • It’s a decorating contest! Downtown businesses will be showcasing their shop windows and facades covered in lights to welcome the holiday season. From 6pm to 8pm on December 5th we invite everyone to drive or stroll the downtown shopping district to view the Twinkle Downtown light tour and shop during a special open house celebration. See below for the voting details.
  • Don’t miss visiting all of the area’s shops which will be hosting specials, contests, and amazing home town customer service. A map/guide will be available marking the way to the residential and businesses that are decorated making this tour one to remember.
  • The lighting of the official downtown Christmas Tree will be streamed on FB this year. Santa will be on hand to light the tree and joined by a guest choir as they ring in the season with Christmas carols.
  • Santa’s mailbox will be located in front of the Community Center/Armory for all of those letters heading to the North Pole. To assist the little ones with their letters to Santa, many of the downtown shops will have complimentary stationary to share.
  • Shop local, have fun, and win prizes with Christmas on the Bricks from November 28 to December 15.

We encourage all to shop local this holiday season. Supporting brick and mortar businesses is more important than ever before. Curb side pick-up is also available through many shops and local restaurants.

What a great time to shop, view Twinkle Town and pick up your favorite meal curbside! Brochures detailing all of the special events will be available at local businesses.
